One reason why potential new home owners are so eager to invest in real estate in the township of Millburn/Short Hills is because they know that they will be welcomed by the community with open arms. The Millburn/Short Hills community is warm and caring, so it attracts people from across the country. The Newcomers-Encore Club of Short Hills and Millburn plays a large role in this.
The Newcomers-Encore Club plans exciting and fun events to help new home owners acclimate to the Millburn/Short Hills environment and make friends. One such event was the celebration they held in honor of Earth week with a special program at the Millburn Free Public Library. The program was called “Easy Ways to Improve Your Environmental Health.” It was open to the public and served to offer guidance on how one can choose more environmentally healthy foods, select safer personal care products, and make lifestyle decisions that are good for both the planet and people. The event was led by Jennifer Duckworth, who is the chairwoman of the Millburn Environmental Commission, an environmental engineer, an educator and a community leader.
The township of Millburn/Short Hills is always eager to welcome new home owners into the community and to make the transition of moving as seamless and easy as possible.
