The township of Millburn/Short Hills is an excellent place for potential new home owners to invest in real estate. It is very conveniently located right outside of New York City and is surrounded by other popular and trendy towns such as Madison, Maplewood, Chatham Township, Chatham Borough, South Orange and Summit. Additionally, it boasts Millburn High School which was rated the number one public high school in the state of New Jersey this year. All of these excellent factors aside, what really makes the township of Millburn/Short Hills an amazing place to live is how hard the members of the community work to keep their township in the best possible shape. Everyone pitches in to make the township special.
Nearly 70 volunteers are accepting the challenge of working towards a new initiative for major downtown redevelopment plan which was voted by the Township Committee last year. The future of the downtown area is going to be decided by these individuals who together comprise the citizen-based Revitalization Committee. The members of this Committee have a wide array of backgrounds and bring knowledge from environmental issues to finance to planning. The Revitalization Committee is being led by Millburn/Short Hills township residents Daniel Baer and Robert Tillotson.
As a realtor, I know that potential new home owners want to invest in property in an area that makes consistent investments to be all that it can be. The community members of the Revitalization Committee work to make this happen.
