The township of Millburn/Short Hills is an excellent place for potential new homeowners to invest in property. On September 12, 2009 a record number of 133 members of the Millburn/Short Hills community turned out to donate blood. The Millburn Free Public Library had never seen so many volunteers at a blood drive before. Additionally, several of these donors received pins for donating one or more gallons of blood. Perhaps the anniversary of September 11 is what spurred all of these people’s generous donations. Maybe the urgent need for blood hospitals are still experiencing could have pulled at people’s heartstrings.
