The township of Millburn/Short Hills is very popular amongst potential new homeowners. Property sales in the township of Millburn/Short Hills remain consistently high because potential new homeowners recognize the many benefits of being a resident of the township of Millburn/Short Hills. One such benefit is that residents in the township of Millburn/Short Hills are committed to keeping each other informed on up to date information to benefit their families. Recently an event was held for this purpose.
The Millburn Township Parent Education Committee was proud to be sponsoring Nancy Samalin. Samalin is a best-selling author and parent educator. Samalin wrote the books: “Loving Your Child is Not Enough,” “Love & Anger: The Parental Dilemma,” “Loving Each one Best” and “Loving Without Spoiling.” She has also been a guest on several national television shows. She had a presentation called “Love and Anger: What to do When Kids Drive You Up the Wall”. The event was held in the Education Center on April 15. At 7:00 p.m. there was a book signing, followed be the presentation, which was open to the public. The presentation gave parents information on how to avoid nagging, yelling, bribing and punishing. It also informed them about effectively handling anger and setting limits without feeling guilty. Samalin also touched on reducing sibling rivalry and fighting.
Events such as Samalin’s presentation are what make the township of Millburn/Short Hills a real estate hot spot. Property values are heavily influenced by the culture of the town. The residents of the town value education, morality and making a safe and nurturing environment for their children. Potential new homeowners would be lucky to join such a community.
