The township of Millburn/Short Hills is an excellent place for potential new homeowners to invest in real estate. Being a homeowner is more complicated than just having a house. Homeowners have responsibilities, think about investment strategies, and have many areas of knowledge. The township of Millburn/Short Hills endeavors to support homeowners by giving them the tools to succeed in all areas of life. One way in which the township of Millburn/Short Hills achieves this, is through educational seminars.
The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the legal firm of Jackson Lewis LLC and the CPA firm of C. Sam Vassallo Jr., P.C. hosted a seminar on November 16 in the township of Millburn/Short Hills. During the seminar law partners from Jackson Lewis LLC explained some of the difficulties and strategies for employers on navigating employment law while things around them are perpetually changing. Topics included employment applications; reference checking, the offer letter, employee handbook, performance evaluations, discipline and disciplinary warnings, wage and hour compliance and leaves of absence. Vassallo introduced ways to grow ones company by developing strategic partners to help cross sell existing client/customer bases as well as consolidating infrastructure costs to increase the bottom line. Additionally, pros and cons of outsourcing labor were discussed, along with streamlining operations.
Endeavors such as educational seminars are what set the township of Millburn/Short Hills apart from other townships. Potential new homeowners want to invest in more than a home; they want to invest in a community, which will also invest in them. The township of Millburn/Short Hills provides this.
