The township of Millburn/Short Hills is a spectacular place for potential new homeowners to invest in real estate. Since I am a realtor raising my family in the township of Millburn/Short Hills, I am well aware of all of the advantages being a resident of the township of Millburn/Short Hills. The township of Millburn/Short Hills has all of the benefits of a small warm community without the flaws. While the township is a safe, beautiful and friendly place, residents are still able to enjoy cultural benefits normally found in a larger urban environment. Potential new homeowners with families want their children to grow up in a safe and stable environment while still being able to expose them to rich and diverse cultural activities. The township of Millburn/Short Hills sponsors such activities on a regular basis.

One such opportunity is coming up soon. At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, Dr. Margaret Brisco will be reading excerpts from her short story collections, “Women in Transition” and “Metamorphoses”. This Italian author will be reading these stories, described as “snapshots in women’s lives”, at the Millburn Free Public Library. Dr. Brisco practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Northern New Jersey for 35 years. Dr. Brisco is considered a pioneer for practicing during a time when relatively few women became physicians and even less specialized in surgery. If you would like more information about this event, you may call or email the Millburn Free Public Library, located at 200 Glen Ave. (973-376-1006), or e-mail mbrisco@maarek.com.

Potential new homeowners are eager to become part of a community that brings interesting people such as Dr. Brisco to enrich and elevate their minds.
